Carob Teriyaki Sauce (Carob Syrup)

6 tablespoons soy sauce
6 tablespoons Mirin
3 tablespoons Carob syrup
3 teaspoons Corn starch + 3 tbsp water (Will be use to stirring into the sauce to be thickened)
1 Sliced medium onion
Reserved marinade sauce

1) In a pan, heat up cooking oil at medium heat. Add onion and fry till fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
2) Then add in all the sauce ingredients then bring mixture to a low simmer over medium heat.
3) Stir in the corn starch solution until the sauce thickened.
